TmaxSoft Names John Yun As New CTO

Yun to lead global development efforts including product management, technology acumen and innovation

CHICAGO – September 13, 2017 - TmaxSoft, a global software innovator for cloud, infrastructure, and legacy modernization, today named John Yun as its Global Chief Technology Officer. In his new position, Yun will guide TmaxSoft’s global technology agenda and accelerate the company’s global growth.

Yun joins TmaxSoft from LG Electronics, where he previously served as Vice President of B2B Business Development. Yun’s prestigious career includes positions with many other notable tech companies, including Accenture, Oracle and PeopleSoft, during which time he acquired a broad range of technical competencies ranging from virtual reality to cloud services.

Yun earned his bachelor’s degree in Applied Mathematics with Computer Science from the University of California, Berkley, and a master’s in Business Administration and Project Management from Boston University.

Yun will split his time between TmaxSoft’s Chicago and Korean offices, traveling to clients as necessary.
